Greetings All,
Congratulations on choosing Ocean City, MD. for your next reunion spot. The dates will be sixteenth to the twentieth of September. This is the last weekend of summer. There is no theme for the weekend so we can expect a discount and we will get one. I can't promise you a hurricane but hopefully we wil feel some effects of one. I have enough surfboards and wetsuits so everybody can have a go. Ocean City has a forty-block long semi-tacky boardwalk - mostly from dropped fries and spilled pop - with a permanent carnaval on the south end. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance, even a grocery store. All sorts of fishing, even paintball is available if anyone wants to do that. Mostly I see a relaxing weekend on the beach, talking stories, doing sand castles, swilling beer, you know, the same old stuff we did on our beach back at the base. A lot of Boeing workers have migrated down to my VFW in their retirement years and maybe we can get together and swap stories. I'm sure they would like to see Bill Sly's epic Chinooks at war video. Ocean City is as good as any beach anywhere. So come on down with all that stuff Busbee said to bring to Pensacola and everything will be all right. Stay tuned for more information.
