Pictures Contributed by Larry G. Cribbs
Boxcars 1971-1972 I will be adding captions to these pictures over the next several days - 22 AUG Larry has converted 320 slides to digital format and sent them to us for inclusion on the Boxcar website. Many of the pictures are around the 178th Co. area and flight line and many were taken in the A.O. as well as a number of other parts of RVN. These pictures are of very good quality, especially considering how old the slides are. Larry has spent a good deal of time and effort to convert them and clean up the images. Note: In order to be able to display 320 pictures in an easy to navigate way I have designed this section to be viewed in at least a 1024 pixel by 768 pixel screen resolution; so if you are at 800 x 600, I recommend you reset your resolution to a higher one. If there is a picture you want to print; let me know the filename and I'll send you the high resolution version for printing. Note from Larry: I took the following pictures while I was assigned to the 178th ASHC from April 1971 through February 1972. I had a small point and shoot camera, so some are not of great quality. Also, my memory is not what it used to be so it is safe to say that some of the shots are mis-labeled. If anyone can identify any of the shots or if I have made mistakes, please let me know. I have quite a few more pictures somewhere, but I haven't found them yet. When I do find them, I'll send you some more if you want them.
